If you crave island life but want to escape the crowds, then Formentera is the place for you. The most southerly of the Balearic Islands, it has only recently been made available to visit by boat, giving you freedom to explore its unspoilt natural surroundings.

Isla de Espalmador

Yacht owners adore the uninhabited Isla de Espalmador. It is a nature reserve, with an expansive sandy beach, and gentle west winds, which make it a perfect place for sailing. Illetas

The long narrow beach of Illetas should be visited at least once in a lifetime. Often compared with the Caribbean or Fiji, this thin strip of pure white sand surrounded by crystal clear turquoise waters is truly stunning. Stay a while and you can enjoy undisturbed sunsets over the stunning blue Mediterranean.

Cala Saona

Experience blissful tranquility on one of the quietest beaches on the island of Formentera, enveloped by red cliffs and a rocky coastline. Its pure, sparkling waters offer an idyllic location for diving and snorkelling amongst the marine life.
