Princess Motor Yacht Sales has been appointed the official distributor for Chris-Craft boats in the Balearics.
The Sarasota based boat manufacturer, with a long heritage spanning more than 141 years, has chosen to partner with Princess Motor Yacht Sales based on its experience and success as a distributor on the islands.
Chris-Craft Balearics offer a full range of new and pre-owned Chris Craft motor yachts, cruisers, launches and bow riders from 22ft to 36ft to customers on the islands of Mallorca, Menorca, and Ibiza. Explains Commercial Director Max Whale; “We have been operational with Princess in the Balearics over many years. Over this time, we have come to understand the market extremely well, and we are well known in the islands, especially for our levels of service and aftercare.
“The decision to work alongside Chris-Craft seemed a logical next step. The partnership will extend our reach. We already know many of the yacht enthusiasts in the area from 39ft and upwards, but working with Chris-Craft will introduce us to an entirely new market, letting us engage with many of those living and working in the Balearics – those who want to enjoy the thrill and majesty of beautiful blue waters, but with smaller craft.
“The craftsmanship in Chris-Craft is exceptional, so we felt that the range would perfectly compliment Princess, especially in terms of the high expectations of our customer base and the quality and finish of the product. There are many synergies between the two brands, not least of which is a long heritage of boat building so we are very excited to have been appointed and are looking forward to the challenge!”
Operations commenced fully from November this year, with the launch of a new website, service centre and sales office, based initially in Puerto Portals, Mallorca, but with plans to quickly extend across the region via a network of dealer partners.
The team from Chris-Craft Balearics will make its first boat show appearance at the Dusseldorf Boat Show from 23rd to 31st January 2016.
